Your Ideas Are Worth It
There’s a moment when a dream goes from being something you wish for, something that feels out of reach, to something that is, undeniably, real.
That moment for me came today, when I received my very first paid Substack subscription.
It’s not just about the money—it’s about a person, one single person, who said, “Your ideas are worth it.”
That’s the thing that hit me hardest. The idea that someone believed in what I’m doing, that they saw value in it, and they were willing to support it. That’s not just a small win. That’s the unlocking of a door I’ve been staring at for so long.
For so long, fear kept me from opening that door.
The fear of being “not good enough,” of not having enough to offer, of doubting that anyone would care about what I have to say. But today, that fear was pushed aside, and I realized something: This dream is real. It’s as real as the breath in my lungs. The first step is always the hardest, but I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am that this subscriber made that first step for me.
So if you’re reading this and feeling the same hesitation, let me tell you—if I can open the door, so can you. Whatever it is you’ve been waiting to do, whether it’s sharing your own ideas or taking that leap toward something you believe in, know that it’s possible.
There are people out there who will see you. Who will say, "Your ideas are worth it."
